From it’s opening line (“Get on the ground you motherfuckers!”) this song grabs you by the throat and refuses to let go. Part lilting folk tune, part punk ballad, the song is a tale of a bank robbery gone wrong and its doomed hero. Told with humor and empathy, Maxwell embodies the robber, through to his bloody end.
