A brooding lover’s lament of a dying relationship, holding on by a thread. Verses churn with a dark, menacing pace reminiscent of early Nick Cave, before choruses explode in a wail of saxophone, drums and vocals. Almost reaching an epiphany before settling on the painful truth, no matter how hard the singer tries, it will never be enough.
